to loath, to scold, to say "i don't know",

wondering what it means to achieve.

to be old is to grieve,

to conclude a final statement with "... so,

to be young is to believe".

how to grow, to deceive

life's greatest opponent while sinking low,

wondering what it means to achieve.

if i forgot to grow, grieve, believe, wore my heart on my sleeve,

would i be standing here balancing on a single toe,
