There is no age for when tables can turn,
When the past can come back staring at you,
Ready to say, ‘it’s time to discern’.
You can let that time of old be enclosed in a churn,
Or maybe grasp something from it that’s not quite so blue.
There is no age for when tables can turn.
The present weaves around you like a fern,
Spreading graciously with hope and celebration…for you too;
Ready to say, ‘it’s time to discern’.
Oh, how the future holds so much concern-
At least you hold it that much so, not knowing it’s a sickly flu-
There is no age for when tables can turn.
Soon, there will be too much to yearn,
However there are still things you can do, well, a few.
Ready to say, ‘it’s time to discern?’
Now turning tables is superior to hiding in a cavern.
Believe me, (from one who has their own cavern) it’s true.
Do so, life and what’s left of it will shine a fiery auburn
Ready to say, it’s time to discern.
